Beyond honored and thrilled that the Model Schools Conferences recognizes our district as an “Innovative District” for the Mindful Breathing Program - read more about the program and watch a teaser here:
"My life has truly been transformed by practicing mindfulness, and I have Ashley to thank for it. She introduced me to the practice and has nurtured me as I have grown in my abilities to live a more mindful life. I now meet life where life is rather than wishing it were different. The present moment is a powerful, peaceful place to be!"
— Cheryl, Client
"I grew up looking at food like it was my enemy. I was taught to do so; therefore, I grew up carrying a lot of shame when it came to eating. I beat myself up endlessly anytime something "bad" passed my lips. Ashley taught me to eat mindfully, and I was shocked by the simplicity of the practice; yet it changed forever how I view food. I no longer am a shameful eater. I now celebrate life through the nourishment of food."
— Julie, Client
"Ashley has a mission to teach mindfulness to those who may never have the opportunity to learn it. She has been volunteering at Persevere, teaching mindfulness to prisoners who are readying to return to civilian life, and want to "do" life better. Her training has changed the lives of many. Persevere thanks Ashley for all that she has brought to our population nationwide."
— Persevere Reentry Manager
“Ashley has been a wonderful guide through the world of Mindfulness and Meditation. Since I have been seeing her, my panic attacks are gone and I have been much more relaxed and accepting of events in my life.”
